An alumnus of the University of Lagos where he obtained both B.Sc. Economics (Second Class Upper Division) and M.Sc. Economics in 1989 and 1992 respectively. He qualified as a Chartered Stockbroker in September 2003. He is also an associate member of the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria.

He started his working carrier as an Audit officer at the Office of Auditor General of Oyo State in 1991 and became a pioneer Audit staff in the newly created Osun State later in the year. He was the Operation Manager at Obat Petroleum Limited, Ibadan, dealing Clerk at Kinsley Securities Limited, Lagos and Head of Capital Market at Peninsula Asset management & Investments Limited among others.

Kola has a vast experience in Agric Commodity training and he is a regular facilitator at numerous Agric Commodity Trading Seminars.He joined DSU Brokerage Services Limited on 5th August, 2013 and is the current Managing Director of the Company.
